The entire nation is going nuts about IPL7. People are not tired of talking about the upcoming FIFA World Cup. They are even looking forward to the Indo-Bangladesh ODI series where the Indian squad is going to play without the 8-regular players.

But then, why is the same nation, same people NOT informed, leave alone being concerned or talking about the HOCKEY WORLD CUP starting tomorrow, 31st May 2014. (Surprised? I knew it!)
A team of amazing, young players are representing you, me and us- the country and its people in the 13th Hockey World Cup in The Hague. Keep aside wishing them, how many of you actually knew about it, honestly?
Now don't give me that 'cricket is religion' stuff. All sports are equal, at least they are meant to be.
Good guys, it is the same sport which has brought laurels to the country, in 1975, in form of India's first world cup in any sports.
Let's accept the game a little more.
Make it a part of this sports enthusiastic India. Talk about it. Cheer for it.
Let's celebrate Hockey!

a brilliant iniatitive and excellent way too express your views this need to be understood and can give us a change that we need and will take place sooner or later as cricket has got too much in our heads which is overshadows rest of the sports and events that takes place in our country
